NYC trip is next week!

We are leaving for NY next week to shoot interviews and things are looking good.  Salman Rushdie, Bruce Jay Friedman (acclaimed writer and screenwriter and friend of Algren), and Jan Herman, writer and friend of Algren.  We are also seeing Dan Simon, from Seven Stories Press, who publishes most of Algren's work.  Russell Banks had to push his interview back to March, when we will go back and also interview John Sayles--very exciting!

    Hi Michael! Have a great trip. I look forward to following the progress of your project. Things seem to have a very good head of steam! Hope all goes well in NY. I'll be in Italy working from late August 2010 to mid December 2011. Hoping to set my itinerary to meet the opening of the Algren project. Take care. Be safe.
